| Billy Guerin
- Penguins - Okay, so Guerin isn't exactly young,
but the chemistry he has shown with Crosby has to be extremely
encouraging for fantasy hockey owners. Here's the simple
formula....Kunitz likes to chase and dig...Crosby loves
to pass...Guerin likes to burry the puck. Right wing is
probably the thinest position for fantasy team owners
and Guerin could add real value to your lineup. He's rated
high by profantasynhl.com, but we'll probably be available
a bit later in most drafts. |

Wheeler - Bruins - The Bruins exploded last
year and it remains to be seen if they can replicate last
year's magic. Wheeler makes a great bargain because of
his scoring potential and stellar +/- rating of 36. He
scored 21 goals last year and the Bruins may not be playing
with Kessel all year, which will mean scoring has to come
from others. |

Penner - Edmonton - Edmonton had an agressive
summer trying to make their squad a contender. They've
already had some the peices which includes Penner. The
26 year old finished strong at the end of ther year
and started to use his 245lbs. frame to his advantage.
Penner should easily break 20 goals this season.

Kostitsyn - Canadiens - The 20 year old played
74 games and tallied 23 goals last season. Kostitsyn finished
with 41 points and 15 of those coming on the power play.
With all the new faces on and behind the bench in Montreal,
there's a real possibility Kostitsyn becomes a top producer
for the Habs. . |

Fedotenko - Penguins - Ruslan's numbers were very
respectable for a guy who played 65 games. He clicks with
Malkin and registered a +/- rating of 18 last season.
The problem here is how will he and Malkin click with
a new right winger? |

| Ryan Malone
- Lightning - With the left wing position being
so deep, you may not need to gamble on a guy like Malone,
but here's some reasons why you may. Tampa has Tanguay
coming to town, LeCavalier and St. Louis have been split
because of the late season play of youngster Stamkos,
and Malone's 26 goals will come again, but only with more
assists in 2009 - 2010. |

| Patrik Berglund - Blues
-Berglund's value comes on the power play. Last season
he saw nearly half of his 47 points come with the man
advantage. The 21 year old centerman also had a +/- rating
of 19 and reached 20 plus goals. |

| Matthew Lombardi - Coyotes
- Lombardi is 27 years old and spending his first full
season with the Coyotes this year after being traded from
Calgary before last year's deadline. He tallied 46 points
last year in 69 games, but didn't see a lot of time on
the power play with the Flames. Things should be different
in the desert and expect to see him with Doan when they
have the man advantage. |

| Tim Connolly - Sabres - 47
points in 48 games last year for the Sabres. The year
before he had 40 points in just as many games. Connolly
will slip in most drafts and could be a real steal in
the mid rounds. He poses the risk of not finishing a full
season which is something he hasn't done since his days
on Long Island. |

Schnieder - Canucks - Last year, Schnieder showed
up in Montreal and posted 18 points in 23 games for the
Habs. He's an aging defenseman who will be planted at
the blue line on the power play for a very talented Vancouver
team. If he stays healthy, he may end up in the top 20
of defensman as far as scoring totals. |

| Ryan Suter
- Predators - Shea Weber gets all the love when
comes to fantasy defenseman hailing from Nashville. However,
Suter recorded a career high 45 points last season for
the Preds. On an improving team such as the Predators,
having to guys at the blue line who can score is expected. |

| Bryan McCabe - Panthers
- Jay Bouwmeester is gone and the veteran McCabe will
be the focus of the power play. He had 39 points in 69
games last season and it's not out of the question for
him to see fifty this season. |

| Kari Lehtonen - Thrashers
- Lehtonen had 19 wins in 46 games last year with basement
dwelling Thrashers. He also recorded 3 shutouts in that
time. If Lehtonen can stay healthy, he may see a 30 plus
win season this year with Atlanta.. |
5.8 |

| Pascal Leclaire - Ottawa
- Here's the guy Steve Mason came into replace after injury
last season. Now Leclaire in Ottawa and has the number
one job. In 2007 -2008, Leclaire had 24 wins and a whopping
9 shutouts. Normally, goal support is their for netminders
in Ottawa, and this should help Leclaire see 30 wins.

| Semyon Varlamov - Capitals
- Varlamov was 4-0 his regular season starts last season
for the Caps, but it's his playoff performance that has
Jose Theodore wondering who the number one will be come
this year. Varlamov has shown he's got the stuff be the
number one and it won't take long. The Capitals offense
wil give him the wins and his skill should be enough to
capture his share on shutouts. |
